Title: Scream 4Starring: Courtney Cox, Emma Roberts and Neve Campbell
Plot: One decade after the town of Woodsboro faced a bloody string of murders, survivor Sidney Prescott (Campbell), returns to the sleepy town for a book signing. When the killings start again, it’s up to several community members to unmask the murderer before it’s too late.
Why skip it: Scream 4 relies on blood and gore to get its scare factor. The acting is mediocre at best and the unnecessary cussing makes the script weak. However, the movie’s ability to poke fun at itself make it slightly more enjoyable as a comedy. Those interested in seeing Scream 4 should hold out until the DVD arrives and rent it.
Grade: C-
